Quickest Chocolate Fix EVER! **Not Gluten Free**

Is that cooking ingredients in a coffee mug?  Why yes it is.

Yeah that’s right, I’m a messy cook.  Deal with it.

Did that chocolate goopy mess just turn itself into a brownie in the  microwave in under a minute?  Yes, yes it did.  But you know what it would make it even better?  A giant dollop of ice cream.

Oh noes!  Where did the brownie go?

Oh, there it is!  Nomnom.

Here’s how you get your quick chocolate fix.

Brownie in a Mug


4tbsp plain flour
4tbsp caster sugar
2tbsp cocoa powder
2tbsp vegetable oil
2tbsp water
1/4 tsp vanilla
a small small pinch of salt… a sprinkle even.

Put it all in a mug and stir until it is completely combined.  And no lumps, thank you.
Microwave for approximately 1 minute.  (I did 1 minute 10, but your microwave might differ)
Allow it to cool for a moment (or don’t, and burn your tongue, throat, stomach and everything else on the way down)
Eat and Enjoy!

Try putting a few chocolate chips in to spice things up, or adding a dollop of ice cream or thickened cream to the top.
Next time I make this, I think I’ll be adding a few peanut butter chips to see how it turns out.
