This afternoon/evening I attended the wedding of a friend, and it was truly beautiful. But, to be perfectly honest, the highlight of my night was being told by my bestie that she’d made a cake just for me so I didn’t miss out (and that’s on top of making the actual wedding cake too!). I’m not going to lie, I nearly cried (tears of joy). I am so lucky to have a friend who is so thoughtful and mindful of my food intolerances. And I definitely stuffed my face with cupcake as soon as I got home.

I always feel sorry for the last cupcake. It’s just as delicious as the ones before it, but no one wants to be the piggy who ate the last cupcake. And so it gets shunned, and ends up with the food scraps and trash.
